She managed grant programs at Theater Communications Group, worked in education at the Manhattan Theater Club, and spent four years in artistic development at the Williamstown Theater Festival. She partners with A. D. Hamingson & Associates on several ongoing consulting projects. She has completed certification courses with the Society of Human Resources, and has served as a panelist for the Brooklyn Arts Council, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the ART/NY Nancy Quinn Fund, NYFA, and the WP Lab. She has facilitated panels for Theatre Communications Group, the Williamstown Theater Festival, and the Juilliard School, and a guest lecturer for Yale Graduate Theater Management in Fundraising. Sarah was selected for the 2017 NYFA Emerging Leaders Boot Camp, and the 2018-2019 ART/NY Diversifying Our Organizations cohort.
